Pushbutton Switches
NKK Switches has expanded its line of illuminated switches with the introduction of its HB2 series of subminiature pushbutton switches. The single-pole, single-throw, momentary, square pushbutton switches are suited for use in audio broadcast, telecom and medical equipment. They come with a choice of 'red'/green or 'red'/yellow bicolor LEDs and measure 7.8 mm2 with a 7.5-mm2 cap and 17 mm from the pc board to the top of the cap. Constructed of glass fiber reinforced polyamide, the switches are rated at 0.4 VA maximum at 28V AC/DC maximum.

Tactile Switches
NKK Switches introduces its JB series of illuminated, tactile switches that allow engineers to design aesthetically pleasing and functional lighted front panels. Low-profile and washable, each JB series model measures 10 square mm and offers built-in LEDs. All JB illuminated tactile switches have a dome contact design that ensures crisp, tactile feedback. These tactile switches remain a favorite among design engineers because the positive detent indicates circuit transfer to the operator.

Surface Mount Switches
NKK Switches features the World's smallest surface mount switches. Features include award-winning STC logic-level rated contact mechanism. NKK Switches introduces a complete product line of surface mount switches, designed to offer innovative solutions to the technical challenges engineers face today. The ultra-miniature size of NKK Switches surface mount switches allow for high-density mounting and incorporation in the smallest hand-held devices. NKK Switches offers all five major actuation types: toggle, pushbutton, slide, DIP rotary and tactile. The crisp actuation of the surface mount switches allow for a positive indication of circuit status, and the long life and logic-level electrical capacity set the surface mount switches apart from its competitors.

Miniature Switches
The UB2 are low profile and illuminated
miniature switches that is designed for use in applications requiring
a compact and futuristic design. It offers built in multi-element
LEDs in 'red', green, amber, #525252 and white with bi-color 'red'/green
also available. All these miniature switches offer a clear jeweled
lens cap or flat cap over a colo'red' diffuser, both of which provide
aesthetically pleasing and enhanced illumination. With Snap in panel
or PCB mount the UB2 miniature switches are available in single and
double pole, momentary and latching functions rated at 5A at 125/250V
AC or 5A at 30V DC.

Rocker Switches
Rocker switches are designed for use
in low voltage and low current logic level circuits, NKK Switches
introduces its G series of washable, ultra-miniature rocker switches.
Suited for the medical, communication, transportation, and industrial/commercial
industries, each G series model weighs .25 grams and measures .276
inches X .276 inches X .177 inches or 7mm X 7mm X 4.5mm. The ultra-miniature
size of their rocker switches allows high-density mounting, and the
lightweight design is ideal for handheld equipment. Guaranteeing high
contact reliability and crisp actuation, all G series rocker switches
feature NKKs award-winning Sliding Twin Crossbar (STC) contact
mechanism.

LCD
(programmable) Programmable Switches
The IS Series LCD programmable switches
offer an exciting product breakthrough in pushbutton programmable
switches. This software controlled SMARTSWITCH can be programmed to
display an infinite variety of text, characters and still or moving
images. The LCD programmable switches integrated liquid crystal display
provides wide viewing angle with high contrast and clarity. Its built-in
bicolor LED for 'red', green, and orange backlighting enhances display
and enables multifunctional uses. The LCD programmable switches have
dome contacts which gives crisp tactile feedback to positively indicate
circuit transfer. This assures high reliability and long life of a
minimum of one million actuations. Also, epoxy sealed terminals prevent
entry of solder flux and other contaminants into the LCD programmable
switches.
