SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (Aug. 26, 2008) - NKK Switches, the world’s leading designer and manufacturer of innovative electromechanical switching devices, has announced that it has expanded its authorized representative agreement with Ammon & Rizos, a territorial sales and marketing firm servicing electronics industry manufacturers, to include Mexico and South America.
These two new territories will join Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma and Arkansas on the list of regions where Ammon & Rizos operates as an official NKK representative.
“Ammon & Rizos has proven itself as a highly-capable and beneficial representative of NKK and this expansion is simply the next evolutionary step in our relationship,” said Frances Amoss, Vice President of Sales at NKK Switches. “We fully anticipate the same quality design engineering resources and technical support by Ammon & Rizos in these new territories that we have come to expect from them.”
This expanded partnership with Ammon & Rizos will allow NKK to better service its valued distributors and customers in the Mexico and South America regions as Ammon & Rizos’ regional offices in Guadalajara, Mexico; Sao Paulo, Brazil; Santa Catarina, Brazil; and Amazonas, Brazil will take over work that was previously being done by offices in the United States.
Based in Richardson, Texas, Ammon & Rizos was established in 1954 and has over 40 employees located throughout their eight North and South American locations. They were announced as an official NKK authorized representative on June 1, 2008 and have a proven track record of success in the U.S., in Mexico and in South America. They have operated in Mexico since 1993 and in South America since 2006.
