August 12, 2021 – NKK is pleased to present a new offering from the dynamically programmable IS Series. The Fan/Light Control Solution is a Human-Machine Interface designed to control fans and lighting for an RV, home, business, or industrial application. Four compact 64×32 LCD SmartDisplay pushbuttons control four fans or lights with eight levels of speed/brightness.
The Fan/Light Control Solution may be entirely pre-programmed or customized using free image and backlight software. The subsystem displays temperature (C/F) by simultaneously pressing two switches and can sense and/or control various statuses, gauges, and devices. Communication for the subsystem can be USB, Ethernet, CAN, RS232, RS485, etc.

To help simplify development, NKK offers Engineering Kits with schematic and source code for all SmartDisplays. Subsystems with any number and configuration of SmartDisplay switches can be designed and supplied by NKK Switches.
