The Series FD01 and FD02 stand out with their compact dimensions of 7.2mm and 7.7mm square, respectively, combined with a low-profile height of just 3.1 to 3.3mm. These ultra-thin dimensions make them perfectly suited for high-density mounting, addressing the growing need for space-saving yet efficient components in electronics design.
Technical Excellence and Durability:
- Electrical Capacity: With a rating of 0.4VA maximum at 20V maximum, AC/DC, these switches are designed for optimal electrical performance.
- Mechanical and Electrical Life: Guaranteed for a minimum of 10,000 operations, these rotaries promise durability and long-lasting reliability.
- Contact Resistance: Offering a maximum of 100 milliohms at 20mV, 10mA, they ensure efficient performance.
- Environmental Resilience: Operating effectively within a temperature range of –25°C through +85°C, these switches are built to withstand challenging conditions.
Innovative Features for Enhanced Performance:
- Rotor and Case Composition: Utilizing LCP resin for the rotor and PPS resin for the case cover and base, the switches are robust against environmental factors.
- Gold-Plated Contacts: The movable contacts are made of Corson alloy with gold plating, providing superior contact reliability.
- Terminal Options: Series FD01 offers through hole terminals, while the FD02 features surface mount terminals, providing stability during soldering and ease of inspection.
